| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features a dynamic full-figure depiction of a female figure skater in a low, outstretched gliding pose, arms extended, executed in fine relief against a smooth field. The word 'PRÓBA' (trial strike) appears in small letters to the right of the figure. The legend 'XIV ZIMOWE IGRZYSKA OLIMPIJSKIE' curves along the upper periphery, denoting the XIV Winter Olympic Games. Along the lower periphery, the host city 'SARAJEWO' and year '1984' are separated by a lozenge ornament. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Poland's 1984 Winter Olympics commemorative program was issued ahead of the Sarajevo Games — the last Olympics held in Yugoslavia before the country's dissolution. This nickel trial strike was produced internally by Mennica Polska to test dies and planchet specifications before committing to the final issued composition, a process the mint conducted routinely on commemorative programs during the 1980s. Trial pieces from this period rarely escaped official channels, which explains why ParM and Fischer catalog them separately from circulation and proof issues.
