| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a three-quarter bust portrait of Hetman Stefan Czarniecki facing slightly left, depicted in period costume with a full beard and fur-trimmed attire, rendered in fine relief. Below the portrait, a battle scene in low relief depicts cavalry and infantry, evoking Czarniecki's celebrated military campaigns. The surrounding circular legend reads '420. ROCZNICA URODZIN HETMANA STEFANA CZARNIECKIEGO', distributed around the full periphery of the coin. The composition commemorates the 420th anniversary of the birth of the distinguished Polish field hetman. The overall design is executed in a classically detailed, portrait-medallic style befitting a commemorative proof issue. |

Stefan Czarniecki earned his reputation during the Swedish invasion of Poland known as the Deluge (1655–60), when much of the country was occupied and the Commonwealth's survival was genuinely in doubt. His guerrilla tactics against Swedish forces — and later campaigns against Denmark, for which he was rewarded with a hetman's baton — made him the closest thing Poland had to a national hero of that war. He is one of only two individuals named in the Polish national anthem, a distinction that has kept him in commemorative rotation for decades.
