Obverse description The state emblem of the Polish People's Republic — a stylised white eagle with spread wings, uncrowned, facing right — occupies the central field. The date 1986 is divided by the eagle's talons, with '19' to the left and '86' to the right. The denomination 'ZŁ 200 ZŁ' appears in bold numerals along the lower portion of the field. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The design is rendered in a crisp, relief style characteristic of late communist-era Polish coinage.
