| Obverse description | The obverse features the Polish state eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in a stylized heraldic manner and centered in the field. The eagle faces right and is depicted without a crown, consistent with the People's Republic of Poland coinage. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA around the upper periphery.
