Beschrijving voorzijde The right half of the note is occupied by an intaglio vignette of Wawel Castle in Kraków, rendered in dark blue with fine architectural detail and captioned KRAKÓW beneath. A large guilloche rosette underprint in pale blue fills the left portion, flanked by the bold dark-blue denomination numeral 200 at upper left and lower right, with the Polish eagle coat of arms positioned below the serial number at left. Two manuscript signatures appear at lower left above the date WARSZAWA 1 MARCA 1990, with the issuer's name NARODOWY BANK POLSKI in bold letterpress across the lower centre.

Beschrijving keerzijde A large circular medallion at centre reproduces a medieval coin of Casimir the Great in light blue intaglio, with a heraldic eagle surrounded by a legend in Gothic script. Two symmetrical fan-shaped guilloche ornaments in blue and teal flank the medallion, with the NBP monogram in stylised script at lower right. The denomination 200 and the words DWIEŚCIE ZŁOTYCH appear at upper and lower right respectively, while a vertical legal tender inscription runs along the left margin.
