| Obverse description | The obverse of this scalloped gold coin features the national emblem of the People's Republic of China prominently at centre, depicting Tiananmen Gate surmounted by five stars — one large star flanked by four smaller stars — all encircled by a wreath of grain ears and a cog-wheel at the base. The emblem is rendered in high relief against a finely frosted field. The Chinese legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs around the upper periphery in bold simplified Chinese characters. The date 2026 appears in the lower field, and delicate ruyi cloud scroll motifs adorn the inner border at either side, characteristic of the Chinese Lunar series coinage. |
