Opmerkingen

The 200 Vatu was introduced as the lowest-denomination paper note in the post-independence Vanuatu series, filling a gap that had previously been covered by coin in most Pacific island currency systems. Three signature combinations are documented across the print run, with the transition from solid to segmented security thread marking the clearest physical distinction between earlier and later issues — the thread upgrade was a De La Rue house change rolled out across multiple client currencies during the mid-to-late 1990s.

Odo Tevi's tenure as Governor of the Reserve Bank spanned both thread variants, making his signature the one most commonly encountered regardless of security feature type.
