| 正面描述 | Printed in black and brown on a tan underprint, the note bears text inscriptions in Cyrillic script denoting the issuing authority and denomination. A handwritten date appears on the face, and the note may carry an additional stamping applied by various local banks. The overall design is of a simple, utilitarian letterpress character typical of Civil War-era emergency issues. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a plain, largely unadorned surface with minimal printed elements, consistent with the austere emergency-issue production standards of the Kuban regional authorities during the Civil War period. A handwritten notation is visible in the upper right area. |

The Kuban People's Republic was a short-lived anti-Bolshevik government operating out of Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar) during the Russian Civil War. This 200-rouble note was issued in 1918 as White movement forces and Volunteer Army units were actively contesting control of the northern Caucasus — the issuing authority itself was displaced from the city twice before the Bolsheviks finally took it for good in 1920.
The S-prefix Pick reference confirms its classification as a regional provisional issue rather than a national series. Kuban notes circulated alongside Volunteer Army scrip, Don Republic issues, and Denikin's own Armed Forces money, creating a chaotic multi-issuer environment that made local acceptance deeply unreliable.
