| Obverse description | The Royal Arms of Cambodia are positioned centrally, flanked by a naga motif, with a vignette portrait of King Norodom Sihamoni rendered in his youth. Denomination numerals appear in both Khmer script and Western Arabic figures, accompanied by the issuing authority inscription in Khmer. | Comments |
Cambodia has issued 200 Riel notes repeatedly since the denomination was reintroduced after the Khmer Rouge period, and this 2022 paper issue sits in an increasingly unusual position — most of the NBС's recent production has shifted toward polymer substrates, making a paper issue at this denomination and date worth noting. The security package is thin by contemporary standards: watermark only, with none of the foil or thread elements common to higher denominations in the same series.
