| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a central agricultural vignette executed in multicolour intaglio, showing five farm labourers working the soil with hand tools alongside a tractor in an open field, with a rural village and rolling hills rendered in the background. To the right, a decorative floral motif of tulips — a symbol of martyrdom in the Islamic Republic — is printed in red and black. The upper border carries bold bilingual letterpress inscriptions and the denomination numeral, while the left margin is bordered by a vertical panel of traditional Persian geometric tilework in dark blue and red. |

| Opmerkingen |
Thomas De La Rue continued printing Iranian banknotes well into the Islamic Republic period — an arrangement that survived the 1979 revolution largely because no domestic printing facility could match the security paper and intaglio quality required at volume. The five signature combinations across this series' run span over two decades of central bank leadership, making it one of the more heavily administered low-denomination issues of the period.
The shift to a Khomeini watermark on later printings marked a deliberate departure from the geometric watermarks used on earlier varieties — a security update that doubled as political statement.
