Obverse description The circular seal of the Islamic Republic of Iran in blue intaglio at left centre, with two signature facsimiles below. A detailed vignette of the Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad occupies the right portion of the note, rendered in fine intaglio line work in blue and green. The denomination دویست ریال (200 Rials) is inscribed in Persian script at centre, with the bank name بانک مرکزی ایران across the top, all set against a guilloche underprint with floral ornamental borders.

Reverse description The circular emblem of the Islamic Republic of Iran at right, composed of stylised script within a geometric roundel, flanked by floral guilloche borders. At left, a vignette of the Tomb of Ibn Sina (Avicenna) in Hamadan is rendered in fine line engraving. The denomination 200 RIALS appears in both Persian and Latin scripts, framed by ornamental borders along the upper and lower edges.
