Reverse description The crowned imperial arms of Brazil occupy the central field, depicting a shield charged with an armillary sphere on a field of stars, itself set within a larger starred oval. The shield is surmounted by the imperial crown and flanked on each side by a symmetrical wreath composed of coffee branches on the left and tobacco branches on the right, tied at the base with a floral rosette. The denomination '200 REIS' is inscribed along the lower arc in bold capitals. The entire design is framed by a neat beaded rim.
