Obverse description The obverse is centred on a vignette of the Jebel Marra waterfall, flanked by indigenous fauna including a Secretary Bird (Sagittarius serpentarius), Guinea Fowl, and a Crane at the water's edge, with a Vulture in flight against a background of trees. Arabic-Indic numeral ۲٠٠ appears in the upper field, with the governor's signature positioned below the central design. Guilloche underprint patterns in multicolour frame the overall composition.

Reverse description The reverse carries a central vignette of Red Sea underwater flora and fauna, with Anthias fish rendered in naturalistic colour amid tube corals and reef corals.
