Obverse description Three-quarter facing draped and epauletted military bust of Simón Bolívar, El Libertador, rendered in high relief at center. The effigy depicts Bolívar in military uniform adorned with laurel-branch decoration at the collar and epaulettes with fringe. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA arcs along the upper periphery, while the inscription LIBERTADOR SIMON BOLIVAR curves along the lower border, flanked by small star stops.
