| Obverse description | Green and red intaglio print over a green, blue, and yellow guilloche underprint; at centre, paired portrait vignettes of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and José María Morelos y Pavón flank La Campana de Dolores to their left. A holographic security thread runs along the left margin, the denomination at upper right is rendered in colour-shifting ink, and two pass-through registration marks appear at lower right.
