Obverse description	The obverse is dominated by an intaglio portrait of Juana de Asbaje (Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz), the renowned 17th-century Mexican poet and intellectual, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint incorporating repeated BM microprint security elements. The denomination numeral 200, the issuer legend BANCO DE MEXICO, and the spelled-out value DOSCIENTOS PESOS appear in the upper and lower registers respectively, alongside the name JUANA DE ASBAJE.
