备注	El Estado de Buenos Ayres existed as a separate political entity from the Argentine Confederation between 1852 and 1861, following Urquiza's victory at Caseros and the subsequent split. This note was issued during that interval of provincial independence, when Buenos Aires ran its own finances, its own customs revenues, and its own paper money entirely outside federal authority. PS#435 is among the higher denominations of the series — 200 pesos was a substantial sum in 1858 provincial commerce. Survival rate for large-denomination notes of this issuer is low; they circulated hard and were rarely set aside.
