The central text body, set in letterpress, records a promise by El Gobierno Nacional to pay the bearer DOSCIENTOS PESOS with monthly interest from the date of issue, payable at any Oficinas Nacionales, dated Paraná, 1° de Octubre de 1857. Three signature lines appear at the foot for El Ministro de Hacienda, El Contador General, and El Tesorero, with handwritten signatures below each title. |

| Opschrift keerzijde | CONTRATO de 1.° DE OCTUBRE de 1857 EL GOBIERNO NACIONAL tiene el derecho de exigir la amortización de este billete abonando en metálico corriente su valor escrito e intereses vencidos. Cuando tratase de amortizarlo, lo avisará por el periódico oficial del Paraná por quince días consecutivos, debiendo presentarlo su tenedor dentro de los sesenta de la fecha del primer aviso.
