Above the shield rises an ornate plumed crest. A scroll below the shield bears the national motto POR LA RAZON O LA FUERZA. The date 1968 appears to the left of the shield, and the mint mark So is incorporated within the legend. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 200 PESOS is inscribed in large characters at the base, all within a beaded border. |
