| Obverse description | The obverse features the royal emblem of Bhutan rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field: a double vajra (dorje) at the centre, flanked by two finely detailed druk dragons facing one another amid stylised cloud scrollwork, the composition set within an inner beaded border. A jewel-topped flame motif surmounts the design at the apex. The circumferential legend 'KINGDOM OF BHUTAN' arcs along the upper rim in Latin characters, while a Tibetan script inscription appears in the lower field beneath the central device. |
