Obverse description The obverse is dominated by a central vignette of Hendrik Witbooi, the Namibian freedom fighter, shown in a three-quarter portrait wearing his characteristic wide-brimmed hat, rendered in intaglio against a multicolour guilloche underprint in shades of violet, red, and orange. The issuer's name BANK OF NAMIBIA appears across the upper register, with the denomination 200 and N$200 printed in large numerals to the left and lower right respectively. A background vignette of a colonial-era building and palm trees is visible to the right of the portrait, and the left margin carries a repeated geometric pattern typical of Namibian textile motifs.

Reverse description The reverse is centred on an intaglio vignette of two Roan Antelopes (Hippotragus equinus) in a naturalistic savanna setting, with a third animal visible in the middle ground to the right. The denomination 200 appears in large numerals at upper left and lower right, flanked by the issuer name BANK OF NAMIBIA on the left margin. A Namibian flag vignette is positioned in the upper left corner, and a fine guilloche underprint in lilac and pale orange tones fills the background.
