| Reverse description | Printed in violet on a blue underprint in intaglio (chalcography). The central vignette comprises the Coat of Arms of the Brazilian Republic — a large five-pointed star enclosing the Southern Cross, wreathed by laurel branches — set within an elaborate symmetrical guilloche of scrollwork, rosettes, and lathe-work panels that fills the entire field. Denomination numerals "200" appear at all four corners, with tablet inscriptions "DUZENTOS" at top centre and "MIL REIS" at bottom centre. Four cancellation punch holes are present. |
