| Obverse description | Central device depicts the three towers of San Marino — Guaita, Cesta, and Montale — each surmounted by an ostrich feather finial, set upon a crenellated bastion wall. A sprig of oak with acorns appears to the right and a leafy plant sprig to the left, both flanking the central fortress composition within a beaded inner circle. The circular legend reads 'REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO' around the upper and lower periphery. The engraver's signature 'U. PERNAZZA' appears in small characters in the lower field below the central device. |
