Description de l’avers	At centre, an intaglio vignette of a group of schoolchildren — including a child in a wheelchair — gathered around an open book inscribed EDUCACIÓN and raising the Honduran national flag, set against the Casa de Gobierno de la Provincia de Honduras (year 1821) rendered in fine engraved detail to the right. The upper centre carries the issuer inscription REPÚBLICA DE HONDURAS / BANCO CENTRAL DE HONDURAS, while the upper right bears the commemorative legend 200 Años in script. A colour-shifting optically variable ink numeral 200 appears at lower left above LEMPIRAS, and a vertical security strip with BCH microtext is visible at centre-left. Three facsimile signatures appear along the lower edge with the date 24 de octubre de 2019, and the cursive inscription Viva la Independencia / 1821–2021 runs across the lower right.

Description du revers	The reverse is dominated by a vivid full-colour vignette of two Scarlet Macaws (Guara Roja) in flight over an aerial panorama of the Río Plátano Biosphere Reserve, rendered in fine intaglio and multicolour offset. The legend BIÓSFERA DEL RÍO PLÁTANO appears at upper left, with GUARA ROJA labelling the birds at centre. The heading REPÚBLICA DE HONDURAS is printed across the top, and the Banco Central de Honduras circular seal — inscribed Fundado en 1950 / Al Servicio de la Nación — is positioned at lower right. The denomination 200 DOSCIENTOS LEMPIRAS runs vertically at left, with a large numeral 200 in dark ink at lower right, and the printer's credit G+D Currency Technology at lower left.
