| Obverse description | A stylized Albanian double-headed eagle with spread wings occupies the central field, bearing a tower castle shield at its breast. The Cyrillic legend МЕТОХИЈА arcs across the upper field, while the Albanian denomination legend DYQIND and LEKË appear flanking the eagle at left and right respectively. The lower portion of the hexagonal flan bears the inscription RRAFSHI I DUKAGJINIT in two lines, referring to the Dukagjin Plateau. The design is executed in a frosted relief against a mirror-polished background, consistent with proof-style striking. |
