背面描述	The legend 'BANCA NAŢIONALĂ A MOLDOVEI' is engraved across the upper portion of the field. The left side bears a portrait effigy of Ştefan cel Mare şi Sfânt (Stephen the Great and Holy). A diagonal national ornamental band traverses the centre of the field. In the lower portion, a circular device encloses the victory symbol 'V' surrounded by the inscription 'PE-UN PICIOR DE PLAI, PE-O GURA DE RAI...'. The right side carries the commemorative inscription '20 de ani de la introducerea monedei naţionale în Republica Moldova', marking the twentieth anniversary of the introduction of the national currency.
