背面描述 The New Parliament Building in Lilongwe fills the left and central field in intaglio, with an architectural elevation of an earlier government structure rendered above. A stylised ceremonial mace rises to the right of centre against a light blue guilloche ground, while the Reserve Bank of Malawi seal and denomination numerals appear in the lower register alongside repeating microprint patterns of '200' across the field.

备注

The 200 Kwacha denomination was introduced as part of a broader redenomination push in Malawi that followed years of severe kwacha depreciation — the currency lost roughly two-thirds of its value against the US dollar between 2012 and 2016 alone. Paper rather than polymer substrate was retained despite regional moves toward polymer, almost certainly a cost decision given the country's constrained foreign exchange position.

P#65A spans an unusually long print run window for a country that has historically cycled through note designs frequently. Worth noting for date collectors: signature combinations vary across the series as Reserve Bank governors changed.
