Obverse description A large intaglio vignette of a ghost moth (Hepialus humuli) dominates the centre and right of the note, rendered in fine engraved detail against a multicolour underprint of stylised grasses in ochre and grey-blue tones. The denomination numeral "200" appears in bold intaglio letterpress at centre-left within a grey guilloche panel, with the Faroese text below, while a round hologram security element is affixed to the left margin and a thin embedded security thread runs vertically at right. Two facsimile signatures appear at lower right.
Obverse lettering 200 TVEY HUNDRAÐ KRÓNUR
(Translation: Two hundred Krónur)
Reverse description A watercolour-style landscape vignette occupies the left portion of the note, portraying the dramatic sea stacks and islet of Tindhólmur near Vágur rendered in dark grey and ochre washes against a stormy sky. The denomination numeral "200" is set within a grey guilloche panel at upper right, and the issuer name "FØROYAR" is printed in bold intaglio across the centre-right, with the statutory legend below in smaller letterpress. Yellow fluorescent rings are distributed along the right margin as a latent security element.
