Part of the "Bridges and Antiquities" series commissioned by Danmarks Nationalbank in the mid-2000s, with design work by Karin Birgitte Lund — a significant departure from the portrait-based format Denmark had used for decades. The series was a deliberate shift toward architectural and archaeological imagery, reflecting a broader Scandinavian trend in the period away from historical figures on currency.
