Reverse description A stylised polar projection map of the Arctic region occupies the centre-left, rendered in multicolour intaglio with a radiant sun motif at upper left evoking auroral phenomena studied by Birkeland. Fine guilloche latticework fills the right portion of the note, with a small four-pointed compass rose vignette at centre. Two facsimile signatures appear at lower right alongside the denomination numeral "200" in the upper right corner.
