Obverse description Central field depicts a detailed architectural rendering of the Romanesque-Gothic chapel of Spiš Castle, with its prominent twin spires rising above the fortified walls and gateway arch in the foreground. The denomination '200 SK' appears in large numerals to the right of the central motif, with the Slovak coat of arms — a shield bearing a double-armed cross on a triple mount — positioned below. The legend 'SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA' arcs across the upper field, and the date '1998' is inscribed at the bottom. The mint mark of the Kremnica Mint appears to the lower left of the chapel design.
