| Aanvullende informatie |
The Municipal House (Obecní dům) in Prague was completed in 1912, built on the site of the former Royal Court where Bohemian kings once resided. Its construction was funded entirely by the city of Prague — a deliberate civic statement at a moment when Czech national consciousness was pressing hard against Austro-Hungarian authority. The centenary of its opening prompted this issue.
Czech commemorative 200 Korun pieces in this series were struck in relatively modest quantities, with collector demand almost entirely domestic. Circulation examples are essentially nonexistent.
