| Opis awersu | The obverse features two overlapping circular reproductions of historical Jáchymov thalers rendered in high relief against a matte field. The left thaler displays a standing figure of Saint Joachim with a heraldic shield below, surrounded by a Latin legend; the right thaler shows a rampant Bohemian lion within a beaded border and a circular Latin legend referencing King Louis (LUDOVICVS). The denomination 200 Kč appears in large numerals at the top of the field, and the issuer legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA is inscribed in two lines at the bottom. A dotted border encircles the entire design, and the engraver's monogram appears at the base of the field. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse presents two overlapping circular medallions, each containing a facing bust of a historical figure rendered in the style of early sixteenth-century thalers. The left medallion depicts a youthful male bust in profile facing right, wearing a broad-brimmed hat and period attire; the right medallion shows an older male bust in profile facing left, similarly hatted and wearing a jewelled collar, evoking the portrait type of the original Jáchymov thaler of 1520. The commemorative date range 1520 - 2020 appears within a dotted border at the top of the field, and the inscription JÁCHYMOVSKÉ TOLARY is rendered in two lines at the bottom. The engraver's monogram VA is positioned in the lower field beneath the central design. |
