| Obverse description | At upper centre, the Slovak national coat of arms — a double patriarchal cross on a three-peaked mountain — appears above the date 2004. The legend SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the left and right periphery in bold relief lettering. The central field features a detailed engraving of Segner's hydraulic reaction wheel apparatus, shown in a rectangular frame with the mint mark and engraver's initials flanking the device at lower left and right respectively. The denomination 200 Sk is inscribed in large numerals along the lower portion of the field. |

| Reverse description | The reverse centres on a raised circular medallion bearing the portrait of Ján Andrej Segner facing slightly left, depicted in period dress with a cap, rendered in fine relief. The birth year 1704 appears to the left and the death year 1777 to the right of the central medallion at mid-field. Surrounding the portrait in the outer annular field are engraved schematic representations of Segner's various scientific inventions and instruments, including turbine frames and optical devices.
