The Železný Brod school, founded in 1920, grew directly from the region's centuries-old Bohemian glass trade and trained generations of designers whose work entered international exhibitions throughout the 20th century. Czech commemorative 200 Korun silver issues have followed a consistent program since the mid-1990s, with the CNB issuing them in both proof and brilliant uncirculated versions — mintages typically running in the low thousands for proof strikes.
