| Reverse description | The reverse presents a formal frontal effigy of King Wenceslaus III (Václav III), the last male scion of the Přemyslid dynasty, depicted crowned and robed in the Gothic manner, holding a sceptre in his right hand and a cross-headed orb in his left. Flanking the royal figure are two heraldic shields: the Bohemian lion to the left and the Silesian eagle to the right, referencing the extent of his realm. The inscription VYMŘENÍ PŘEMYSLOVCŮ PO MEČI curves along the left rim, while 1306 2006 and VÁCLAV III appear in the field. The composition is inspired by medieval Gothic manuscript and sculptural traditions, rendered in finely detailed relief. |
