Obverse description The obverse features a centrally placed Gothic shield bearing the Czech lion, overlaid by a horizontally oriented sword whose blade extends to the left rim and whose hilt reaches toward the right. Above the shield, within an arched frame evoking a Gothic architectural setting, a stylised depiction of a royal tomb or bier is rendered in low relief. The legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA curves along the left and right periphery, while the denomination 200 KČ is inscribed in the lower left field. The engraver's mark appears below the shield at bottom left.
