| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts a robed male figure, representing the medieval chronicler Cosmas of Prague, seated at a writing desk in three-quarter left profile, holding a quill and inscribing a manuscript. To his right, a tall candlestick provides light, set against a partially ruined Romanesque ashlar stone wall that occupies the right half of the field, symbolising the passage of nine centuries. The commemorative dates 'KOSMAS 1125–2025' are inscribed in two lines along the lower field, marking the 900th anniversary of his death. A small heart-shaped mintmaster's mark appears at the bottom centre below the inscription. |

Cosmas of Prague, who died in 1125, wrote the Chronica Bohemorum — the first systematic chronicle of Bohemian history — while serving as Dean of Prague Cathedral. He began the work late in life, completing only three books before his death, and the manuscript was continued by later authors whose additions are often difficult to distinguish from his own. The Czech National Bank has issued commemorative 200 Korun pieces since 1993, typically timed to anniversaries with defined historical anchors; this issue marks the 900th anniversary of Cosmas's death.
