| Obverse description | Central field depicts a detailed frontal view of the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves), rendered in high relief with multiple gilded domes surmounted by Orthodox crosses and elaborate Baroque architectural detailing. To the lower right, the Ukrainian state trident (tryzub) appears within a shield cartouche. The inscription 'ХІ ст' (11th century) is incused in the right field, referencing the monastery's founding. The denomination '200 ГРИВЕНЬ' appears in bold relief along the lower margin, with the date '1996' beneath the central architectural motif.
