This is a reproduction banknote — a collector's fantasy piece, not a Banque de France issue. France moved to euro-denominated notes in 2002 and has issued no franc-denominated currency since. The "200 francs Belmondo" belongs to a cottage industry of privately produced commemorative items that mimic the visual grammar of official notes, often with a single nominal security feature — here a watermark — included to suggest legitimacy without crossing into counterfeiting law in the jurisdiction of production.
Matej Gabris is a Slovak graphic artist known for producing this type of fantasy note series, typically sold as novelty items. The piece has no legal tender status anywhere.
