Obverse description Intaglio-engraved portrait of King Károly Róbert (Charles I of Hungary) in three-quarter view at right, wearing a crown and armour, with his name inscribed above. The centre of the note carries the large numeral '200' above the denomination legend 'KÉTSZÁZ FORINT' and the issuer name 'MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK', set over a multicolour rosette guilloche underprint incorporating the Hungarian coat of arms at left. A watermark window and ornate scalloped medallion occupy the left portion of the note.
