| Obverse description | The obverse displays the papal coat of arms of Pope Francis in high relief at the centre of the field, featuring the IHS Christogram surmounted by a radiant sun on the escutcheon, flanked by traditional heraldic devices including a star, a spikenard flower, and the Keys of Saint Peter crossed behind a papal tiara above the shield. The papal motto MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO is inscribed in a curved legend along the lower portion of the field. The legend FRANCISCVS PP.
