| Описание реверса | The reverse is dedicated to Léon, Second-Master (Second-maître) of the Commando Kieffer, one of the 177 French commandos who landed on Sword Beach on 6 June 1944. The design commemorates his specific service in Normandy and his subsequent participation in operations in the Netherlands, including the amphibious assault at Walcheren and the capture of Vlissingen. His unit continued to conduct raids and combat operations across the western front until the German surrender, at which time they were present on Dutch soil.
