Reverse description Orange intaglio print over a multicolour guilloche underprint. The central vignette reproduces "The Secret School" (Το Κρυφό Σχολειό), the celebrated oil painting by Nikolaos Gyzis, in which a Greek Orthodox priest secretly instructs children by candlelight during the Ottoman period. Denomination numerals appear at left and right, with the issuer's name in Greek lettering across the upper register.
