Obverse description Orange intaglio print over a multicolour guilloche underprint. A portrait vignette of Rigas Velestinlis-Feraios (born Antonios Rigas Velestinlis), the Greek revolutionary poet and patriot, occupies the right portion of the face, while figures engaged in communal playing and singing are rendered to the left. The motto "The one who thinks freely, thinks well" appears in Greek script as a principal inscription across the note.
