Obverse description The national coat of arms of Barbados occupies the central field, featuring a shield bearing a bearded fig tree and two Pride of Barbados flowers, surmounted by a helmet and a hand holding two crossed pieces of sugarcane. The dexter supporter is a dolphin and the sinister supporter is a pelican, both rendered in fine relief. A scroll below bears the national motto PRIDE AND INDUSTRY. The curved legend TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS arcs across the upper field, with BARBADOS inscribed along the lower field, all within a beaded border.
