Obverse description The obverse bears the fourth effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, depicting a bare-headed portrait of the Queen facing right, adorned with a necklace and earrings, as rendered at approximately 77 years of age. The legend ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 200 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower border. The portrait is rendered in a refined, realistic style consistent with Royal Canadian Mint coinage of the period.
