Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as engraved by Dora de Pédery-Hunt, depicting the Queen wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, a pearl necklace, and drop earrings. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the crown and hair. The legend ELIZABETH II is incused along the upper left rim, with D·G·REGINA along the upper right rim. The date 1992 appears in the lower exergue beneath the bust. The mirrored proof field provides strong contrast to the frosted effigy.
