Between them, a chrysanthemum mon — the Imperial seal of Japan — is prominently featured. Decorative floral and foliate motifs border the inner rim at either side. The legend IMPERIAL GOLDEN WEDDING arcs along the upper rim, and the commemorative dates 1959-2009 appear in the lower field, with the fineness mark .9999 to the lower right. |
