| Obverse description | The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupies the centre of the obverse field, depicting a right-facing draped bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem. The engraver's initials 'IRB' appear on the truncation of the neck. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' curves along the upper periphery, with 'AUSTRALIA' continuing along the right field, both separated by small raised dots. The denomination '200 DOLLARS' is inscribed in large letters along the lower periphery, flanked by raised dot stops. |
